I,ve never owned a plastic boat before. Can I wax my Wave the same as a fibreglass boat?

I don't see why not. I would check it first in an inconspicuous area to be sure. Must be ready to get out on the water TS! Hopefully Hammbone will chime in as he did a full resto' on his and would probably know better.

Waxing it is not going to hurt anything. I don't think you need to wax it though. Are you just trying to make it a little faster? I noticed after I cleaned my hulls with the Magic Eraser, water beaded up on the hulls. I don't know if there's wax in the Magic Eraser, but something made the water bead up. Jim

After putting up the mast by myself using the Youtube video posted by an Awesome Aussie for guidance I applied a coat of wax by hand. I liked what I saw and next step is the power buffer
