I've been contemplating on getting a mount for my 2hp Honda Outboard www.cheatabrackets.com/page1.php and I'm also thinking of adding a traveller. I like the outboard for docking and I'm famous for getting stuck out in the doldrums. I'm also hearing from other Wave skippers that a traveller provides much greater control in heavy air. Given the design of the boat can I do both? If not which do you suggest is the better option? Rob Halifax NS

I have no idea Rob. Stumped on that one. I can only speak for the traveler and it's worth every penny. Every cat should have one period. Motor would be sweet though. If it were one or the other, I couldn't answer that until I got stuck out in east j'brew trying to get into the dock. In that case a traveler would make no difference and be of zero help. let us know what you decide and why for others.
I know the traveler, which you prob' already know, rivets to the top of the rear crossbeam making it unusable for anything else.
