It's that time of year again when sailors put their boats to bed for the winter slumber and today I began prepping Thunderstruck for her first hibernation. The mast is resting on the cross-beams and anything that can walk away has found refuge in my basement. I couldn't figure out how to take the trampoline off but it's loosened as much as I can and will soon place a blue or green tarp over the entire hull to keep snow and rain off.
My other boat Celtic Kiss will be sailed again throughout the winter provided the snow banks aren't too high. If my boats could talk to each other I wonder what they'd say?

They would say: " We miss our skipper"! But, distance makes the heart grow fonder. Until next season then.......
